Fine Art Print of my digital piece, Geoff and Jeff in Space!
Geoff and Jeff in Space is a piece I completed for the High Art 2021 competition put on by Natural Cannabis Company. From more than 4,000 entries all over the world, this piece was in the top 125.
I learned of the competition about a week before the contest ended, so I scrambled to complete this piece.
Inspired by the contest description, my friend and I had a funny conversation about what I could make.
“Maybe they could just be sitting on the couch with trippy stuff in the background”
“Maybe they could be smoking a bong with an alien!”
I often use people I know as models for my work, and my boyfriend Geoff got to be the lucky one this time. I got him to sit on our couch and act like he was stoned and traveling through space. He made some fun expressions and gestures and I chose my favorites. He is the model for all three characters sitting on the couch: Geoff on the left, Jeff on the right, and their alien friend Multitasker in the middle.
I did not win the competition-but I will try again next year.
